SDC Opening Ceremony
Axilon Technologies Pvt.Ltd. has opened its Satara Development
Centre (SDC) formally on 4 February 2008. Satara is a town 110 k.m.away from Pune.

The inauguration was done by member of assembly Mr. ShivendraRaje Bhosle. Mr. Michael
Valdes, President and Mr. Steve Healis, Director, Axis Technical Group graced the occasion.
While conveying best wishes for the centre, Mr. Bhosle assured full co-operation
towards the venture on the administrative level. He told that this act is a welcome
one in order to give preference to rural area in the IT mainstream. Dr. Achyut Godbole,
former municipal president also supported him and conveyed his good wishes to the
company. |
The ceremony was followed by a press conference. While addressing to the journalists,
Mr. Vikram Kotnis, CEO, Axilon Technologies Pvt. Ltd. asserted that the objective
of opening centre is not only a part of expanding the business but to give opportunity
to the intelligent candidates at their own native place. He said that it is necessary
to give scope to a semi-urban place like Satara on the backdrop of growing saturation of IT
employment in urban area. He stated that Satara was found to be a very good place in every
aspect like undisturbed environment of working and the helpful nature of local
people. Mike and Steve said that that giving opportunities to unexplored
places was a pleasant moment for them.

Aniruddha Joglekar, Director, Axilon Technologies Pvt. Ltd. delivered the welcome
note. Centre Manager Anita Pawar co-coordinated the event. |
